About the American Board of Anesthesiology MOCA Minute®
As Part 3 of the ABA’s MOCA 2.0® program, the MOCA Minute® is a longitudinal assessment that requires diplomates to answer 30 timed exam-style questions per calendar quarter (a total of 1200 questions during the 10-year MOCA cycle) in lieu of the 200-question MOCA exam every 10 years.

How long is the MOCA Minute®?
The MOCA Minute® is made up of multiple-choice questions similar to those typically found on MOCA exams. Diplomates are required to answer 30 questions per calendar quarter and no more than 30 questions per day. This is a total of 120 questions per year and 1200 total questions by year 10 of your "Participating in MOC" status.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Determine and explain the relevant anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology associated with anesthetic induction, maintenance, and emergence.
- Determine and explain the relevant anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology associated with critical care and emergency medicine.
- Determine and explain the relevant anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology associated with pain management.
- Describe the medical conditions which affect anesthetic risk by organ system.
- Identify the role of the medical management in relation to each medical condition’s effect on anesthetic risk.

How do I earn Anesthesiology CME Credits?
- Check your Anesthesiology state requirements for CME where you practice.
- Purchase the Anesthesiology Question Bank with optional CME Certificate Add-on.
- Answer questions with at least 70% accuracy (you may correct answers as you go).
- Redeem and submit the form and evaluation.
- Print your PDF certificate of completion.
