Give with BoardVitals this Giving Tuesday

When Thanksgiving comes around, many people and companies start thinking about how they can give back and contribute to their community. Giving Tuesday is November 29, 2016 and according to the Giving Tuesday foundation, more than 40,000 organizations in 71 different countries have participated in this annual celebration. Giving Tuesday is designed to kick off the season of giving back through the rest of the holiday season and to the end of the year.

Vaccine Ambassadors is a partner of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO)- serving children and families in Latin America and the Caribbean.  Donations, such as those received by BoardVitals, go directly to the purchase and delivery of vaccines and related supplies and services in the Region. The statistics concerning the large populations who go unvaccinated are concerning. More than 1.5 million children under the age of 5 die from a vaccine preventable disease each year. We can all do better about informing ourselves of the importance of vaccines and providing care when and where we can.
