The Dermatology Recertification exam is a 3-hour test and is offered through Pearson Vue testing centers. The exam includes two modules. The first is the General Dermatology Module which has 100 clinical images that are accompanied by a question for the most likely diagnosis among five distractors. The second module has 50 multiple choice questions consisting of a mix of images and written questions in single best answer format. Candidates select from the following options: Surgical Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Medical Dermatology.
